  • 25/4/2009 NUS LGBT passes policy proposed by members of Students for a Sensible Drug Policy UK mandating the LGBT officers to lobby the government to provide greater facilities for LGBT drug, insluding alcohol, users, to write a letter to the governemtn calluing for an impact assessment of the current drug laws on the LGBT community and to mandate the LGBT committee to encourage LGBT groups across the county to provide safer drug use advice to all their members. Parts were taken on opposing the criminalisation of all drug users, and an ammendment proposed by Birkbeck college to actively oppose the criminalisation of all drugs fell.

  • 18/4/2009 Students for Sensible Drug Policy UK organisers will meet in Stoke-on-Trent.
  • 31/3/2009-2/4/2009 Students for Sensible Drug Policy UK had a stall at NUS conference and the National Director made a speech about drug law reform for NEC Elections.
